3DO has released a significant update for Heroes of Might and Magic IV that adds multiplayer to the game. The new multiplayer component supports up to six players and has third-party matchmaking support. There are six maps specifically for multiplayer play, and any of the scenario maps with two or more starting positions can also be selected for matches.
