Heroes IV expansion this fall?

Sources indicate that 3DO will release an add-on for its popular turn-based strategy game this September.

Fans of Heroes of Might and Magic IV, 3DO's latest turn-based strategy game, will be getting an expansion pack this fall, if reports on online retailers EB Games and GameStop are accurate. No information about the expansion pack is listed aside from its $29.99 retail price, and the publisher was unavailable for comment at press time. 3DO said in April that an expansion for the game was a possibility. We'll post more information about the expansion as it becomes available.

Heroes of Might and Magic IV was developed by New World Computing, the studio that created the previous games in the series, and released in April. The game features a number of improvements on its predecessors, including better graphics, a new combat system, changes to the technology tree, and other new features.
