Like many other games, BioWare's Mass Effect: Andromeda will have a day one patch.

BioWare is currently working on this patch, with the aim for it to be available when Andromeda launches for EA/Origin Access members on March 16, producer Michael Gamble and BioWare GM Aaryn Flynn have confirmed.

Now Playing: Playing Mass Effect: Andromeda Left Us Conflicted

Asked if the day one patch would come out on March 16, Flynn said, "Yes that's the plan." Gamble jumped in to say that's the goal, though it might not happen. "No promises yet. But we are working hard to make that a reality," he said.

Andromeda's official release date is March 21, but EA/Origin Access subscribers on Xbox One and PC can play it starting on March 16 through a 10-hour trial. No version of EA Access is available on PlayStation 4, though players on that platform can look forward to Andromeda's upcoming multiplayer beta (which is presumably coming to other platforms as well).
