Hearts of Iron - Platinum goes gold

Paradox Entertainment announced today that Hearts of Iron - Platinum, the upgraded version of its award-winning WWII real-time strategy game, has gone gold. In addition to a new scenario and thousands of new events, the platinum edition features improved AI and a revised manual, according to the company. The game will ship to US retailers on September 21 and will ship worldwide later in the month. Additionally, Hearts of Iron 2 is slated to ship in Q1 2005.
