Heartbeat withdraws from game development
Heartbeat announces that it will temporarily withdraw from game development.
On Friday, Heartbeat, the developer behind Enix's Dragon Quest series, announced on its Web site that it will temporarily withdraw from game software development. The reasons for its withdrawal were not revealed, although the company intends to make announcements regarding its upcoming business plans in the future.
Heartbeat was behind the development of both Dragon Quest VII and the Dragon Quest IV remake on the Sony PlayStation.
