HeadGames Takes On Rock Climbing

Activision's value gaming division takes on a mountain of a game.

HeadGames Publishing is taking games up to a new level with some real hard rock by announcing Power Bar Extreme Rock Climbing. The game will challenge gamers to test their skills on ten indoor and outdoor climbing walls, with 12 male or female characters to choose from. Players start the game as a beginner to gain skills for increasingly difficult climbs.

"Now, climbing enthusiasts can push their limits and experience high-angle adventure with Power Bar Extreme Rock Climbing," states Dan Hammett, senior vice president of Activision Value Sports. "Offering a wide variety of climbing challenges, the game lets outdoor aficionados experience the thrill of the ascent from the comfort of their home."

Power Bar Extreme Rock Climbing is currently available for all Windows 95/98 PCs for US$24.95.
