First out of the gate for the PlayStation 3 is Hard Corps: Uprising ($15). Developed by Arc System Works, the 2D side-scrolling shooter sees players assuming the role of the soldier Bahamut as part of a prequel story to Contra: Hard Corps.

Sony added two other full-game PS3 titles to its download hub, the first of which is Slam Bolt Scrappers ($15). The game has players creating weapons and using them to bring down their opponents in Slam Bolt City. In addition to a four-player co-op campaign mode, Slam Bolt Scrappers features a head-to-head mode.
