Vivendi Universal has announced the involvement of the band No Doubt in the upcoming Argonaut-developed platform game Malice. The band will lend three songs to the game's soundtrack, some of which will be remixed to fit the game's look and feel. In addition, the band's lead singer, Gwen Stefani, will provide the voice of the game's hammer-toting lead character. The rest of the band--Tony Kanal, Tom Dumont, and Adrian Young--will also do voice work for the game.

"Having our songs in Malice is another way to get our music to people who might not otherwise hear it," Stefani said. "We make music--that's what we do and we love to share it."

Malice is scheduled to ship for the Xbox and PlayStation 2 this fall.
