Capcom has revealed through its official Web site that it has started development on Gun Survivor 3: Dino Crisis for the PlayStation 2, but details on gameplay and options are currently unavailable. The original Gun Survivor was released on the PlayStation in North America under the name Resident Evil: Survivor, which was a first-person shooter that gave players the ability to move around within the environment. Its sequel--Resident Evil Survivor: Code Veronica--featured similar mechanics, but it followed the Code Veronica storyline and offered light-gun support, something the original game sorely lacked.
Gun Survivor 3: Dino Crisis is scheduled for release in June in Japan. A North American release has not been announced.
