Everybody's favorite bendable green clay figurine has made his way into stores in the form of the Game Boy Advance game Gumby vs. the Astrobots. The kiddie-oriented action game is rated E for Everyone and ships with a budget-minded price of $19.99.

Gumby vs. the Astrobots is the first adventure for the green figurine in a game, which sees Gumby attempting to rescue his friends Pokey, Prickle, and Goo. The three have been kidnapped by the television show's infamous Blockheads and their cohorts in crime, the Astrobots. Gumby will, of course, be able to take advantage of his bendable clay status and shape-changing ability throughout the game.

The clay-animated Gumby characters originally premiered on television in the 1950s, and they turn 50 next year. For more on the Gumby game, see GameSpot's preview.
