Swedish developer SimBin has made a name for itself developing the GTR series of hardcore racing simulations based on Europe's FIA GT Championship, which eschews stock cars and open-wheeled racers in favor of modified high-end sports cars. But where SimBin has used German publisher 10tacle for its first two GTR games, the developer has signed on with THQ for a multititle deal.

The first announced game to come out of the deal is a GTR installment for the Xbox 360. When it launches in spring 2007, GTR on the Xbox 360 will feature cars, drivers, and tracks from two FIA GT Championships. SimBin is headed up by Henrik Roos, professional race driver and former FIA GT Team owner.
