GTA V for Xbox One, PS4, PC Gets Updated Radio Station -- Report

British model and actress Cara Delevingne she's updating her in-game radio station.

It looks like Rockstar will update at least one in-game radio station for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC version of Grand Theft Auto V.

The news comes via British model and actress Cara Delevingne, who voiced the DJ for the game's Non-Stop-Pop FM radio station. Yesterday, she tweeted that she was back at Rockstar Games to "update" the station for the new version of the game. Rockstar Games retweeted Delevigne's announcement, as well as the picture of her above at Rockstar's office.

Rockstar hasn't made an official announcement about updating or adding content to its radio stations, so we still don't know how significant Delevigne's update is, or if any other stations will get a similar treatment.

GTA V has already shipped 34 million copies on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 alone, and it was the best-selling game of 2013. It launches this fall for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC, though a specific release date has not yet been announced. Your existing Xbox 360 or PS3 Grand Theft Auto Online characters will carry forward, regardless of which new platform you play on.

the fact is i wont buy this again just for a radio station, after TBOGT and RDR i was waiting 5 years for gta 5 such a terrible letdown, bland uninteresting characters, no real interaction with the city and and a online full of rat kids NO THANKS, unless they let me sell, craft something with animals add more missions ,let me enter inside every house and building, have real decisions that impact the story and change the main characters i wait for gta 6 review, dont waste your money on this CRAP  instead spend 10$ on max payne 3 and RDR now

GTA Vice City soundtrack would be freaking amazing. I'd pay big money for that. You know if they ever do GTA IV they should return to that pink hued city with songs that'll last till the end of time.

GTA5 and/or GTA Online needs to make it's entire music catalog available,

I would definetly pay $20 for the entire GTA Vice City soundtrack, or GTA San Andreas soundtrack!

Please add V-rock, complete with Iron maiden, Dio, Black Sabbath, Cannibal Corpse, Kreator, Queensryche, Ozzy, Megadeth, Deicide, Slayer, Yngwie Malmsteen, Rush, and more QUEEN(Queen's radio gaga and 2pac's ambtionz az a ridah are the only two songs in GTAV I can stand to listen to).

PS: also let us turn off the kill indicators and cinematic score in options menu.

To this day, Vice city is still the best soundtrack in the GTA Series and maybe of all-time.

If we could also get maybe a new chat station or update some new dialog and commercials that would be okay as well. My favorite part of the GTA games has always been the chat stations and the commercial writing. I mean, I still love listening back to Pressing Issues with Maurice Chavez from Vice City.

I'd rather get GTA5 release date than new radio stations.

Cool pic of Lindsay Lohan with a gun.

Songs on Non-Stop-Pop FM were already outdated by late 2013... I mean, not that I ever heard at it while driving with Trevor, it's just a very manly observation, kinda dude-bro-bservation... err, that didn't sound good either... a-hem! Be serious, people!

Just be sure we can easily include our own music.  Tiny Tim's Tip Toe Through the Tulips is just so perfect...

The radio gets repetitive after some time... Cool thing is in the PC version you always had the option to put your own music in a radio station...Come on Rockstar...give us the release date already...heists too...Am I asking for too much?

Provably one of the reasons (between any other they may have) will be removing the song from that rap singer that sued them some months ago.

@Saladudo Obviously only your own taste for music is acceptable, and you look down on people who dont like the stuff you do.

I prefer 80s rock and roll, but I don't moan when games only have EDM and pop in their soundtracks. If it irritates me, I simply play my own music through Spotify.

Sevenizz

I forgot about that. Weren't we able to on the original Xbox GTA games?

Sevenizz

Most of the songs are hits in their respected genres at one point in time. Can't really blame them for trying or for being too obscure. Music taste is extremely relative. It's impossible to please everyone.

@Warlord_Irochi That was Daz Dillinger from Tha Dogg Pound. They tried to lowball him and he said NO, but they put 3 of his songs on the soundtrack anyway.

@vicsrealms I think my favorite part of the GTA series is seeing how far Lazlow's life has fallen since the last game.

athleticguyuk

@azlil7 It's not delayed. Rockstar has confirmed by tweet that it is still a fall 2014 release. Judging by past GTA Games, the voiceovers and radio stations get added in last real close to release. The radio stations etc were added to the 360 and PS3 versions of GTAV just a matter of weeks before release.

I miss being a teenage when the 'my music is better than your music' argument meant something.

Wait till you grow out of it - you'll feel stupid about it later.

@Skrillbak @vicsrealms Lazlow has been in other games since GTA3?  Man, all I remember him in was Chatterbox.  Have to do some reading up.  Might be a good excuse to start through the series again.  ~grin~

Rakou

@Saladudo @Rakou  Simply because my opinion and taste isn't the same as yours? You're wrong - if the internet was a physical world, no one would hide behind a digital mask. Kids wont send death threats to celebrities, and they wont **** on a person when face-to-face.

Just step into an environment without internet access, and you'll find your physical world.

@Rakou @Saladudo WHAT MASKS, WHAT OPINIONS, WHAT TASTES, FGS!!! I was making fun out of the situation of me, a male player hearing a girly radio station, a FICTIONAL radio station on a video game -a simple joke I expected some could relate and joke along- and then you decided to stop by and rant about points of view and 80s R&R music. WHAT THE F*** IS WRONG WITH YOU BOY?
