GTA V was initially released in September 2013 on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 before launching in 2014 for Xbox One and PlayStation 4, and in 2015 for PC.

On an earnings call today, Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick said GTA V and GTA Online continue to impress, with growth exceeding expectations more than two years after launch.

Looking ahead, Rockstar has teased that GTA Online will add "massive, feature-rich" content updates in the coming year. Players are still waiting for the promised single-player content, however.

In other news, Take-Two has announced that Rockstar is planning to announce some "exciting" games in the near future.
