Gravis announced Friday plans to unveil the first of its new lineup of Universal Serial Bus (USB) controllers this October: the GamePad Pro USB, a digital version of its existing best-selling pad.

The GamePad Pro USB will also work with Apple's new iMac, as it uses the USB for peripheral support and continues Gravis' support of the Macintosh platform.

"Gravis continues to integrate new technology that enhances the gaming experience," said Randy Hart, director of Gravis. "This year marks the rise of USB devices and systems designed specifically for USB products, and Gravis will support the demand for these types of devices for gamers."
