The PlayStation 2 version of Game Arts' RPG is sent to stores.

Ubi Soft has announced that Grandia II for the PlayStation 2 has shipped to stores. Grandia II, which was originally released for the Dreamcast, features a character named Ryudo who has been hired to protect a young priestess so she can conduct a ceremony to halt the rebirth of the evil god Valmar. The combat system includes a mixture of real-time and turn-based elements, as well as a spell system that uses MPEG overlays to produce a unique look.
