Grand Theft Auto Update
We've added art to yesterday's first look at the PlayStation version of ASC Games' eagerly awaited vehicular homicide game.
ASC Games stopped by Wednesday to show off the PlayStation version of its eagerly awaited vehicular homicide game, Grand Theft Auto.
The graphics on the PS version are, not surprisingly, less impressive than on a 3dfx enhanced PC, though are decent and workable. Several tweaks are planned to enhance the visuals from its recently PAL transferred state. The title is also currently missing some of the music and sound effects (such as engine noise) found in the PC rev.
GS News was quite pleased to hear from ASC Games that none of the violent content, language, or black humor will be trimmed from the title in its US PlayStation release. In fact, Sony has already cleared ASC on this.
Look for it to hit shelves in March for the PC and April for the PlayStation.
