The PSP title known as Grand Knights History has been praised in Japan for its visuals and online gameplay, as well as showing off a strong sales presence on the Media Create charts. Publishers Xseed Games recently announced that it will be bringing the role-playing game to North American audiences after signing a deal with Marvelous Entertainment.

According to Xseed, Rising Star Games will be publishing the title in Europe. The game is slated to come out "this winter" and will be available in both UMD and downloadable format via the PlayStation Store.

Developed by VanillaWare, the game puts players in control of a group of four knights representing one of three kingdoms--Logress, Union, or Avalon--in turn-based combat. The game also emphasizes party formations that grant passive bonuses and an online multiplayer mode where users all over the world fight each other to expand a kingdom's territory without needing a constant Internet connection.
