Konami of America has announced Gradius Galaxies for the Nintendo Game Boy Advance. Although it's based on the classic side-scrolling shooter Gradius, the game is being redesigned from the ground up. Gradius Galaxies will feature eight new stages and weapons such as twin cannons, photon missiles, and beam lasers. The bosses, as with the original game, are massive and fill the screen with clusters of artillery fire. Gradius Galaxies is currently on schedule for release in November and will carry a suggested retail price of $39.99.
