You get better deals from physical retailers than MS's digital "Ultimate Games Sale".

How crazy is that?

This is why going all digital is a bad thing. I can get much better deals on the physical game and also resell if I don't like it. Microsoft fails hard.

What COD Ghosts offers:

A blank CD once you erase the stuff on the disk

A case to hold your blank CD.

A cover and instruction manual that I can use to start a fire.

Worth $35?

Both 360 and One versions are 21 bucks at Amazon.  MS you are not giving us a good deal, especially for the digital version.

You're better off getting 4 copies of Payday 2 to play with friends

Seriously though, I don't have a blind hatred for CoD, but that price is insulting for a "sale"!

a new physical copy of ghosts  has cost $20 on amazon for weeks now (for xbox one). how is $36 for a digital copy a deal?

Even if COD:Ghosts low down their price to $5,I still never buy that garbage.

Thanks but I already got Payday 2 for $5.99 on Steam like 3 weeks ago.

@Martyr77  you have to be the biggest twit of the Gamespot community. You're the guy who buys used for the "deals" and sells used, but then complain that publishers are doing what they can to make money through DLC and additional content. You are the problem.

Regardless, the Payday 2 and Dead Rising 2 deals beat any physical copy deals currently. I don't know how this is a Microsoft fail considering that Sony offers such deals as well. Maybe one day you'll offer a comment with substance.

@hamza345  Me neither. I rarely classify a game as garbage, but this one takes the cake.  It's a terrible game. I sold mine quickly.  I ended up losing $10,

@hamza345 i regret paying $40 for it. I played it for a week, and it was just awful compared to MW1-3

@Kisalon It has to do with the pc as all these games are superior on pc and were cheaper dureing the steam summer sale

@shinjuki well this is a weird comment    its already on xbox and COD would lose half of their sales

Why does MS want COD exclusive? MS has Halo and Gears so why do we need another Shooter exclusive?

Fitcherman
Fitcherman

@shinjuki Because it is extremely popular on Playstation and that would be a terrible business decision.

roler42

@shinjuki @EasyComeEasyGo Oh yeah sure, Activision should totally alienate 3/4 of their money income just because you feel CoD "belongs" on the xbox, lol

EasyComeEasyGo
EasyComeEasyGo

Whatever you say. Well in any case, COD always sells well on Xbox Consoles anyway so no worries.

@shinjuki @Fitcherman  For Activision. "Removing" the game from the PlayStation plattform would result in about 50% less incoming for the company.

You can in a sense say that Halo-franchise is actually "underperforming", imagine the billions it would make if every PS owner also bought the games. @.@;;;
