Talk about a buzz kill: Hot on the heels of Konami's announcement that the newest installment in its hugely popular soccer title, Winning Eleven 8, would arrive on the Xbox in North America, comes news that the game will not support Xbox Live play in the U.S. The news is a pretty crushing blow to fans of the series who were hoping to play the game on the Xbox and take advantage of the built-in online capabilities of XBL. Just thinking of the wealth of online league and tournament possibilities for this game makes this decision all the more hard to swallow.
