Gold: The Wheel of Time

GT Interactive's The Wheel of Time, developed by Legend Entertainment, has gone gold. The first-person action-strategy game, based on Robert Jordan's popular book series, uses the Unreal engine to help bring its graphical splendor to the PC screen. Rather than being a continuation of the paperback series, the storyline in The Wheel of Time serves as a prequel to Jordan's original series.

Players will also be able to customize their home fortresses with a citadel editor, which will let you add traps, build blockades, or summon guards. GT Interactive's The Wheel of Time should be available for US$49.95 on November 15.
