God of War dev revealing new game at E3?
Sony Santa Monica tweets "4 weeks to E3..." as job listings point to open-world game with vehicle combat.
Gamers interested in finding out what's next from God of War developer Sony Santa Monica may only have to wait a few more weeks. Writing on Twitter recently, the developer teased "4 weeks to E3…"
No further details are available, though job listings at Sony Santa Monica offer some insight into what form this game may take.
One job ad for a senior combat designer seeks a developer with experience making first- or third-person shooters. Knowledge of designing vehicle combat is a plus for the position. In addition, CVG spotted a since-removed job listing that called for a staffer with experience developing open-world games.
Sony Santa Monica's most recent game was March's God of War: Ascension. The company this week announced it had partnered with artist Richard Hogg and London-based studio Honeyslug for a new PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation Vita game called Hohokum.
