Typically a Thursday affair, Sony has issued the details on its weekly update to the PlayStation Network a day early. Included in the new content once the update goes up is the downloadable game Go! Sports Ski, as well as two new demos, one for Koei's Bladestorm: The Hundred Years' War and the other for EA's The Simpsons Game.

First seen at this year's Tokyo Game Show, Go! Sports Ski from SmackDown vs. RAW developer Yuke's is a ski sim that makes heavy use of the Sixaxis' motion-sensing controls. In addition to hitting the slopes solo, the game includes split-screen multiplayer racing. Unsurprisingly rated E for Everyone, the game is available at the budget price of $2.99.

Koei has announced that a demo for Bladestorm: The Hundred Years' War will arrive on the PSN and Xbox Live simultaneously this week. Having extensively covered Chinese and Japanese warfare with its Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors series, Koei will be visiting Medieval Europe with its latest interpretation of historical conflict. Rated T for Teen, Bladestorm: The Hundred Years' War slashes onto the PS3 and Xbox 360 on November 6.

A sampler for The Simpsons Game will also hit the PSN this week. Available on a multitude of platforms on October 30, The Simpsons Game presents the dysfunctional family from Springfield with the imposing dilemma of being trapped inside a video game.
