GMX signs Buka titles for UK

GMX Media has today announced that it has signed a publishing deal with Buka Entertainment. Under the agreement, GMX will publish both Battle Mages and The Entente: World War I Battlefields in the UK next year.

"We expect 2004 to be a great year for GMX as we continue to sign bigger titles. The Entente promises to be a blockbuster," said Barry Leonard, COO of GMX Media. "We have absolutely no doubt that this will be one of the best-selling PC titles in 2004. We are very excited about it."

"Buka Entertainment is pleased to report now that its 2003 year catalog is entirely sold to the UK," added Maxim Mikhalev, Buka's vice president of international. "The said pair of titles will be distributed by GMX, and the rest of our lineup has already been sold to Oxygen Interactive, including Fair Strike, Echelon: Wind Warriors, and Steamland."
