Global Operations goes on tour

EA will show its upcoming team-based tactical shooter at a series of game cafés across the US.

Electronic Arts has announced that Global Operations, its upcoming team-based tactical action game, will be featured in a series of game cafes across the US beginning tomorrow. The events will include a team-based tournament in which players get a chance to play the game and win prizes, including T-shirts, free copies of Global Operations, and a GeForce 3 video card. The events will begin at noon and end at 6:00pm.

Global Operations will feature team-based action in 13 different real-world locations, including Peru, Sri Lanka, Mexico, and the South China Sea. The game will include more than 30 types of realistic weapons and a variety of equipment, such as body armor, night-vision goggles, binoculars, and medical kits.
