Ghosthunter ships to stores

Namco unleashes the ghouls in its creepy action game for the PlayStation 2.

Namco has released its third-person action game Ghosthunter to stores today. The PlayStation 2 game is rated "T" for Teen and will retail for $49.99.

Ghosthunter follows rookie Detroit cop Lazarus Jones, who unwittingly unleashes a horde of ghosts and ghouls in the basement of an abandoned school. Equipped with a variety of Ghostbusters-style weapons and gadgets, players control Lazarus as he battles all sorts of baddies, from evil teddy bears to demonic children.
