Ghost Recon mission pack announced
Ubi Soft unveils an upcoming add-on for Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon, its latest squad-based action game.
Ubi Soft Entertainment has announced that it will release a mission pack for Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon, its latest tactical shooter, in March 2002. The mission pack will include new missions, weapons, vehicles, and enemies, as well as enhanced graphics and sound. Players will lead a squad of elite soldiers through a series of eight new missions set in North Africa in the near future after a war erupts between Ethiopia and Eritrea. In addition to the new single-player missions, the add-on will include multiplayer maps for LAN and Internet play.
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon was developed by Red Storm Entertainment and released in mid-November. Like the previous games in the Tom Clancy series, Ghost Recon focuses on modern-day tactical combat, but it includes a wider variety of situations and environments than the previous games.
