In spite of a terrible ending (patched up into a mediocre ending), I wanted to purchase all the ME3 DLCs like I did for ME1 and ME2 but there's never a sale on "Bioware Points"... Why would I want to buy another copy of the Trilogy?

Complete waste when nothing you do matters. When it comes to the new mass effect, i will wait for the goty edition and buy it used so they dont get my money. That is if they even win a goty award like mass effail 3 diddnt.

$10 for 2.5 games

$50 for the remaining 0.5 game

Word of advice - Don't play Mass Effect 3.

I paid $30 for the physical PS3 ME trilogy, with a beautiful box art and most of the DLC included. Ten bucks for the digital PC version is a great deal, but having the physical game with a special packaging is just better for me.

If ME3 is included, they should be paying you to suffer through it.

Regional pricing for downloads is BS :/

 £35 in UK ($60)

That xbox 360 deal is really damn good. Those are some prime games.

The PS3 deal, on the other hand, is a complete joke.  It's slightly more expensive, and what do you get? Less of a hard drive, a crappy COD game, that trash know as Aliens: Colonial Marines, and the most boring and over-hyped R* ever made.

LOL...they should be paying people to take Colonial Marines off their hands

It should be called "Partial Effect Trilogy" as so much is cut out of it.

Just tell us how much Gamestop pays for all of these articles.

Let me know when EA/Bioware finally pull their collective heads out of their collective butts and discount the Mass Effect DLC's or put out Complete editions and then I'll care about Mass Effect Deals again.

The only way. I'm playing the whole Mass Effect Trilogy. If it lands on current-gen consoles! At 1080p/60FPS!

Is GameStop even relevant anymore? Most of these sale prices, at least on the games, are near the usual price on Amazon. And, usually sealed, rather than open box, gutted and/or covered in stickers... lol.

Those are all standard publisher set discount prices. I checked a few of those games at Amazon, and every game I checked had the exact same discount applied to it.

would totally have bought it if it included all the DLC

You can't pay for Mass Effect trilogy outside of the US, but you can buy a $10 gift card ;)

@derekbran And you get the extra special deal of getting your info and credit card number stolen.  Good call.

@Pewbert You mean like the article where GameSpot ripped GameStop for their pre-order exclusive DLC packs?

punksterdaddy

@Dimebag_Darrell

I know I would like to play them too, but I refuse to pay full price for something like that From Ashes DLC, which still boggles the mind as to how they could do something like that, making fans pay extra to gain a Prothean for your squad.

What a bunch of greedy W*NKERS!

@jaoman9 it has 3 games and 2 DLC for the PC all for $10. It's literally the best games deal i've ever seen.

@xboxdynasty8 The ME trilogy is a must buy for every gamer out there. It's that good.

@RossRichard @ParanoidPaal I use to hate origin but it's not as bad as I thought. Plus, I get much faster download speeds on origin.

ParanoidPaal

@RossRichard IMO that is a very small price to pay for 60++ hours of great storytelling and fun gameplay.

Pewbert

@MrFreehuggs @Pewbert  That whole article was to get people talking about Gamestop. No such thing as bad publicity. You stick to hugs and leave the thinking to other people.

currere

@Kjranu @xboxdynasty8 I bought the Trilogy on the PSN easter sale, I'm about 250 hours in (with multible playthroughs) and I haven't even started on ME3 yet. In other words, I second that statement.

MrFreehuggs
MrFreehuggs

There is such thing as bad publicity. Not every overused phrase is fact. See: Malaysia Airlines

BTW they did this for the Steam Summer Sale and GOG sale and every gaming related sale. But why should you think before you make another dumb ass comment?

punksterdaddy
punksterdaddy

@xboxdynasty8 @Kjranu

The combat is fun and your two team mates that tag along with you aren't complete tools that do nothing but run around. They actually do fight well and kill plenty of enemies by themselves or you can choose to control them.

If you like a great story and enjoy shooting stuff, then I highly recommend it too.

Once you reach ME3 though, I would advise that you download the FREE Extended Cut DLC.

Pewbert

@MrFreehuggs Go back through the news section on Gamespot and see how many mentions Gamestop gets compared to Steam and GOG. If it is the same amount then I will accept that I made a "dumb ass comment". If you find that Gamestop articles appear much more often than the other two then you know what you can stick to doing ...

I will do a count too, just to make sure I have the correct data.

MrFreehuggs
MrFreehuggs

They tend to post about on going sales. They do it with every Xbox and playstation sale, also. GameStop has some decent/worth mentioning sales going on throughout July. This is why they have more stories right now. I'm sorry that my first conclusion when I see multiple post about a company is not "Conspiracy!"

Pewbert
Pewbert

@MrFreehuggs  So where is the Steam weeklong deals article? They have over 65 games on sale with some up to 85% off. It's not a conspiracy, it's just an advertisement hidden in the form of a regular news article.

MrFreehuggs
MrFreehuggs

You mean the sale that they have every week that is generally made up of garbage games? GameSpot isn't posting GameStop's weekly as, that's a little different
