Get Free Xbox One/PS4 Tales from the Borderlands Episode One

The first episode in Telltale's Tales from the Borderland series, called Zer0 Sum, is now available for free across consoles and mobile devices. It normally sells for $5, while the complete, five-episode series, costs $20. Tales from the Borderlands is based on Gearbox's hit shooter series Borderlands.

Telltale also today confirmed that the final entry in the series, The Vault of the Traveler, will launch on October 20 across PC/Mac, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 3. It will come to Xbox One and Xbox 360 on October 21, while the mobile version will debut on October 22.

Zer0 Sum was released in November 2014 and GameSpot scored it 9/10. Reviewer Alexa Ray Corriea wrote in her review that it "sets a high entry bar into the series but one that's fun to surmount."
