Genki to Build Virtua Striker for DC?
TOKYO - Virtua Striker 2 Limited goes on test in one Japan arcade as rumors suggest Dreamcast version.
TOKYO - On May 7, Sega's upcoming arcade game, Virtua Striker 2 Limited started to test at one Sega arcade at Tokyo. This is the first Naomi version of the series unlike the previous models based on Sega's Model 3 board. VS2L seems like an upgrade version of Virtua Striker 99.1 and should be ported to Dreamcast sometime. Virtua Striker for DC is already listed as one of European launch titles but never mentioned for Japanese release. But many fans believe that it will be released in Japan too.
Rumors suggest that Genki, the same company that developed Virtua Fighter 3tb, is developing the Dreamcast version of Virtua Striker.
