Majesco today announced an agreement with Cartoon Network to publish Game Boy Advance Video products based on a number of its shows. Under the terms of the agreement, Majesco has secured the North American and European GBA Video rights to Cartoon Network properties such as Codename: Kids Next Door, The Powerpuff Girls, The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy, Johnny Bravo, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Dexter's Laboratory, and Ed, Edd n Eddy.

"Our Game Boy Advance Video technology continues to draw accolades, and content providers have been eager to have their franchise properties accessible to the more than 30 million Game Boy Advance and Game Boy Advance SP users in North America and Europe," said Jesse Sutton, chief executive officer, Majesco. "We are delighted to expand our relationship with Cartoon Network and bring their excellent programming to a potentially new audience."

"Kids love their Game Boys as much as they love Cartoon Network, so we think this deal to create content for kids on the go is a great idea," added John Friend, senior vice president, Cartoon Network enterprises. "In fact, we'll kick this deal off with Majesco by bringing our top series Codename: Kids Next Door to video for the first time ever through Game Boy Advance Video this spring."
