Majesco has announced that it plans to bring wireless link and wireless messaging applications to the Game Boy Advance later this year. Both of the products are scheduled to make their official debut at E3 next week, but they are still awaiting license approval from Nintendo.

"More than 21 million consumers in North America own a Game Boy Advance and that alone offers a significant opportunity for publishers," said Jesse Sutton, CEO at Majesco. "Between our video compression technology and our new wireless offerings, we have managed to go beyond the normal video game applications to maximize and expand the potential of Nintendo's Game Boy Advance."

We'll bring you more information on Majesco's wireless plans for the GBA as soon as it becomes available.
