GBA e-Reader bundle announced

Nintendo announces that it will give e-Reader peripherals and cards away with GBA consoles in October.

Nintendo has today announced that for a limited time beginning October 13, anyone purchasing an indigo or glacier Game Boy Advance for $79.99 will also receive an e-Reader peripheral with a Donkey Kong Jr. game and sample pack of e-Reader cards.

Nintendo also announced today that three new e-Reader card series will be launched before the end of the year. Pokémon Battle e-Reader cards scheduled for release on October 20 will allow players to battle new trainers and Pokémon not available in the Ruby and Sapphire versions of the game. Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros 3 cards also scheduled for release on October 20 will introduce additional levels and power-up items to the original game. Game & Watch cards scheduled for release on November 17 will feature more than 25 different Game & Watch games, including both original and special color versions and rare versions that replace the Mr. Game & Watch character with other popular Nintendo characters.
