Gamestock 2001: First look: Azurik: Rise of Parathia

Microsoft unveiled Azurik: Rise of Parathia for the Xbox today at Gamestock in Seattle. Azurik is an adventure game featuring a young apprentice sworn to protect the sacred elements of fire, water, earth, and air. Players play as Azurik, who must stop an apocalypse that has already been set in motion.

Azurik: Rise of Parathia features a unique weapons system governed by the elements, load-free gameplay environments thanks to the Xbox's hard drive, ever-changing enemy characters, and open-ended game design. We'll have more on Azurik: Rise of Parathia as more information becomes available.
