GameSpotters, Mount Up!

Rockstar announced today that it has opened crew registration for the online component of Max Payne 3, the latest in the series focused on the down-and-out cop from New York. Simply visit the Rockstar Social Club website and follow the appropriate links for creating your own crew. There, you can name your crew and create an emblem using the built-in tools on the site. Or you can team up with GameSpot editors and the community by joining the GameSpot crew. Any crews created in Max Payne 3 are functional across multiple platforms--private crews have a limit of 250 players, but public crews have no such limit.

Playing in a crew has benefits over going alone. XP bonuses are awarded for performing various acts, such as rescuing a fellow crew member or for taking down specific members of other crews you're feuding with. Additionally, crews will transfer over to the multiplayer portion of Grand Theft Auto V when that game is released.
