GameSpot's Live Photo Stream: CES 2010

CES 2010: it's filled with TVs, computers, gadgets, and more TVs! See what's happening on the show floor.

CES is, for lack of a better word, big. It dwarfs the Electronic Entertainment Expo, BlizzCon, PAX, and probably even Comic-Con. One thing is for sure--it definitely has the most TVs. Flick through the gallery to get a taste of what the show has to offer.

Microsoft and Game Room

Microsoft unveiled the Xbox 360 Game Room at CES 2010. The new service will add more than 1,000 games over the next three years, most of which will come from the 1970s and 1980s. Game Room will feature the actual arcade cabinet artwork and will try to keep the arcade classics as close as possible to the original feel. For $3, gamers will be able to purchase the Xbox 360-only version, and $5 gets them a PC copy as well. We also found out that you'll be able to use virtual quarters to try out games. View images »

Sony

Sony was big on 3D this year. The company showed off Gran Turismo 5 running in 3D, along with a slew of movies. View images »

Cool Products

CES attracts all kinds of electronic gadgetry. Some make it, most fail, but in the meantime they turn heads. We ran across two different styles of dual-screen laptops and a ton of mobile devices based off Nvidia's Tegra 2 chipset. We also cannot wait to check out Boxee Box from DLink, a small $200 device that takes over most of the duties of a home theater PC and more. You can try out the software for free from the Boxee website. View images »

Razer

Razer came to CES with more than just mice. The $50 Onza, a wired Xbox 360 controller, really caught our eye. The controller's dual analog sticks have adjustable tension, and it comes with a second set of shoulder buttons that can map any of the existing buttons. The ABXY buttons feel like clicky mouse buttons, making them very quick to press. On the headset side, Razer showed off a preproduction model of the Chimaera, a $130 5.1-channel wireless headset made for the Xbox 360. Razer also partnered with Sixense to create, well, Sixense, a motion controller for the PC. The controller has 1:1 motion mapping, and the company is currently making a developer kit and showed off a remarkably well-put-together demo of the controller playing Left 4 Dead 2. View images »

Mad Catz and Saitek

Mad Catz went crazy with its now-well-regarded Street Fighter 4 fight sticks. The new Tatsunoko vs. Capcom models come with changed-up artwork and a modified chassis. The new fight sticks will retail for $150. The Saitek side of the company showed off three new products: the $400 Saitek Pro Flight X-65F Control System, the $100 Eclipse Wireless litetouch keyboard that has an LCD 3-in-1 touch panel, and a range of highly adjustable R.A.T mice. TeeVees!

Yeah, we saw a lot of them: flat ones, big ones, small ones, 480Hz ones, and even 3D ones. Samsung went absolutely ballistic, making a gigantic mirrored flower design filled with LCD HDTVs. View images »

CES Gaming Pavilion

CES itself is mammoth, but the gaming portion…not so much. We found the gaming pavilion tucked away in a corner, much the same way the men's department is in a department store. View images »

CES Madness

Wandering the endless aisles, we snapped off shot after shot. Expect the usual, the bizarre, and probably even some more HDTVs. View images »

Dark Void and Tesla

What does the Tesla Roadster--the all-electric sports car from the San Carlos, CA-based manufacturer--have to do with Capcom's upcoming Dark Void? It's all in the name; famous inventor and electrical engineer Nikola Tesla plays a role in the upcoming action game from Capcom and developer Airtight Games. Granted, that's a flimsy premise to hold an event at the famed Las Vegas Motor Speedway but, considering the Roadster's top speed of 125 mph, we jumped at the chance to see what the car could do on the track.
