Any chance GS could do an article about rAge? its our local yearly gaming expo in South Africa. Tiny (30000 people over the weekend) when compared to this, but growing each and every year. http://www.rageexpo.co.za/

Even though I couldn't go(work) I'm grateful for Gamescom because I got to enjoy the WCS Season 2 final. Awesome games. Blew my mind.

I was there all but the press day and the lines were just devastating. I didnt even bother with divisiion, watchdogs and games I would buy either way like BF4 and ACIV. I got to try the X1 though and the controller is simply great and Microsoft had like 3 dozens of them standing around running age unrestricted games while I would have had to stand in line for hours to try the ps4. Really great were all the more or less unknown games the Wildstar line was fast and the demo really nice, Warframe didnt even had a line.

What I really do not understand though is why so many people stood in line for hours to watch a gameplay presentation which will be available on the interent within days. I watched destiny and evil within for they only took about 20 minutes to get in, I know now if I decide to play the evil within I better wear diapers.

@Dictatroll  It was a 3 way tie- Sony, Nintendo and OUYA!!!  Sorry Xbots, forcing a stupid $100 peripheral purchase in every Xbrick box is the nail in your coffin. You coulda been in the race if you weren't trying to force everyone to Dance Party/Zoomba/talk to their damn console! LOL so lame. Most people don't want to talk to their console, some do, and that is why you will take 4th place overall, after the OUYA. :D Booyaaaaaa!!

@Dictatroll You would think after all those years of gaemscom they would have everything sorted but the organisation was horrible. They huddled all with season ticket into a hall with 4! ticket scanners. It took almost an hour to get inside from there then they redirected us around the premises through the garage into the furthest away hall. The paramedics had to run around helping people who collapsed dozens of times and still they did not hand out beverages and to the last day they randomnly without explanation blocked paths further increasing the crowds of people. The last 2 days they suddenly handed out free passes with which you can skip lines randomly or on stage etc. It was chaotic and without the Star Craft World Championship Season 2 finale I would have stayed there only half as long
