The video game industry stands to benefit if the executives at the companies that make them actually play.

That's according to Head of Xbox, Phil Spencer, who shared his thoughts on subject recently. He went on to praise PlayStation Worldwide Studios president Shuhei Yoshida as being one such example.

"I think our industry is better when more people who [make] decisions on games play. Shuhei Yoshida is one of those people," Spencer said on Twitter.

Spencer's comments came in response to a link he shared to a story about Yoshida's huge appreciation for From Software's role-playing game Bloodborne.

The executive reportedly earned the game's Platinum Trophy and was recently filmed taking on one of the game's baddest bosses--and playing quite well.

And just to be clear, Spencer was not being sarcastic.
