The third annual games event in Nottingham will take place over the Halloween period 2008.

This year's GameCity will stretch over three days from October 30 to November 1, and the organisers have announced that the nightclub Gatecrasher will host some of the events.

Last year, GameCity took place in a variety of locations across Nottingham, including cinemas, book shops, and tea rooms. Highlights included TT Games' Jonathan Smith and a host of stormtroopers discussing Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga, Katamari Damacy creator Keita Takahashi talking about his latest project Noby Noby Boy, and Frontier's David Braben revealing a little about upcoming action-adventure game The Outsider.

We will bring you more information on GameCity as it becomes available, so be sure to check back.

I thought it was "Nobi Nobi Boy", not "Noby Noby Boy", when did they change the spelling? or is this just a spelling error?

Wow an event that is actually near where I live, but why are they looking so far ahead? Halloween is ages away.
