The Emmys air in a couple months, and the television awards academy has announced this year's nominations. HBO's Game of Thrones leads other shows with 23 nominations in everything from "Outstanding Drama Series" to "Outstanding Stunt Coordination."

Other drama series nominated for the top drama award include Mr. Robot, House of Cards, Downtown Abbey, The Americans, Homeland, and Better Call Saul. For "Outstanding Comedy Series," we have Modern Family, Transparent, Black-ish, Veep, Silicon Valley, Casual, Master of None, and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.

When it comes to the actors who play the drama series' characters, people like Kevin Spacey (House of Cards) and Bob Odenkirk (Better Call Saul) are nominated for men, while Viola Davis (How to Get Away with Murder) and Claire Danes (Homeland) are nominated for women. Comedic actors nominated include Ellie Kemper (Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt), Julia Louis-Dreyfus (Veep), and Aziz Ansari (Master of None).

All of Game of Thrones' actor nominations fall into the "Supporting" awards. Peter Dinklage and Kit Harington are nominated in the men's category, while Lena Headey, Emilia Clarke, and Maisie Williams take up half of the women's one.

The Emmys air September 18 at 4 PM PT on ABC. Some of the awards' winners will be named at the Creative Arts Awards the day before on FXX. You can the full list of nominees here or check out some of the more coveted awards in the list below (via EW).
