Game Boy Advance Delayed Again
Nintendo's upcoming handheld faces yet another delay.
Japanese daily paper Nihon Keizai Shimbun reported in yesterday's issue that production of the Game Boy Advance has fallen behind schedule due to a shortage of LCD screens. Nintendo's successor to the overwhelmingly successful Game Boy Color was originally slated for a Japanese release in August, but the launch has supposedly been postponed to December.
This shouldn't affect the Game Boy Advance's North American debut, which is still on track for summer 2001. We were unable to contact a Nintendo spokesperson for official details by press time. GameSpot will bring you more information soon.
