Galactic Civilizations: Altarian Prophecy off to factory

Today, Stardock announced that Galactic Civilizations: Altarian Prophecy, the first expansion pack for last year's well-received Galactic Civilizations, has gone gold. Included in the pack will be two new artificial intelligence-controlled alien civilizations and an all-new campaign that will allow you to explore the history of one of the extraterrestrial races. The pack will also contain map, scenario, and campaign editors, as well as a host of other tweaks and additions. The Altarian Prophecy will be released on June 15, 2004, and can be purchased on CD or via electronic download. The game will also later be bundled with the original game in a single volume, called Galactic Civilizations Gold, that will be available for retail purchase later in the year.
