Galactic Civ update now available

New patch includes reworked battle system, upgraded artificial intelligence, modding support.

Galactic Civilizations II: Dread Lords, the well-received PC turn-based strategy from Stardock, has a new patch available. The large update, now ready for download from GameSpot, adds several features to the game, the biggest being a new combat system for both one-on-one ship battles and fleet battles. Among the more than 400 changes are tweaks to the user interface, a smarter artificial intelligence, and modding support for amateur game developers. Galactic Civilizations II: Dread Lords was released in late February, is rated E10+ for Everyone 10 and Older, and retails for $39.99.

I like this game but after a while i think it gets a little boring. Mostly i got it to support them since they released the game so that you do not need a serial even when you install it to play it and you dont even need the disc to play. If you ever lose it you can just download the game and your set. I hope that more companies follow this instead of some games most notably Superpower 2 which practically asks every detail to play it lol.
