While astronomers may have their own opinions, game publisher Stardock says the universe is expanding. A new update for Galactic Civilizations II: Dread Lords, the highly praised sci-fi PC strategy game, bumps the game up to version 1.4. The new patch is based on feedback from players. It tweaks the game's balance and also makes user mods easier to incorporate. The file is available from the game's official Web site, as is a full list of the patch's fixes.
It's good that "The new patch is based on feedback from players". This is how all developers/publishers should do.
I bought this game at launch month & still haven't found time to play it... I'll gladly support anybody with a quality game & an actual RESPECT for the truly important aspect of gaming: the gamers. Even if I don't ever get around to playing it within the first year I own it, it's worth supporting such a game.
I've had this game for a few months now but between Oblivion and a few others, I just haven't found the time to give it my full attention yet. One of these days I'll get it done.
