Aspyr Media has announced that its upcoming Macintosh version of Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds, LucasArts' real-time strategy game, is currently in beta testing and is on track for release next month. Galactic Battlegrounds uses the game engine used in Microsoft's Age of Empires II, and it lets players assume control of one of six factions vying for control of the galaxy. The PC game was developed by LucasArts and released in November. For more information, take a look at our full review of the game and visit the Aspyr Media Web site.
