New content designed to ease new players into the game lands on December 14.

Aussie developer Auran has announced a free content upgrade for PC MMO Fury called Age of the Chosen. One of the biggest additions is a new game mode called "Carnage," which pits two teams of four players against one another. The twist is that instead of killing each other, the two teams compete by killing bots to earn points. This is designed to help new players ease into the game. Among a more streamlined interface, Auran has also tweaked the tutorial and created practice areas where players can train before heading out.

Auran's Fury was a big achievement for the Australian games industry, as it was the first MMO to come out of Australia. It prided itself on being a game that combined the depth of an MMO-RPG and with the pace of a FPS.

Players will be able to download the patch from December 14 onward. For more information on what is included in the content patch click here.
