Funcom has announced that it has hired the Themis Group, a consulting team with experience in online role-playing games, to help strengthen customer service for Anarchy Online. The team is focusing on how to improve community programs, in-game events, and customer support for the game.

The Themis Group will help Funcom with several specific issues. The goals for the group include building more friendly community relations, decreasing response time to in-game petitions and e-mail, expanding the game's story-driven event program, improving the game experience for new players, and improving players' notification of upcoming changes and fixes to the game.

Anarchy Online, which was launched in June, is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game set in a persistent sci-fi world. For more information about the game, read our full review .
