Funcom announces further Conan delay
The barbarian's Hyborian Adventures is set back once more to add the final "polish"; PC edition due out May 20.
First announced on April 20, 2005,
Obviously that didn't happen, and the highly anticipated massively multiplayer role-playing game has been delayed again and again since. First it was coming mid-2007, then late October 2007, then--in what looked like Funcom's final answer--March 2008.
In a further twist to the tale, an announcement made today has stated that the PC edition of the game has been delayed once again, and is now due on May 20.
The extra eight weeks are needed to "stress game systems and polish the game further," according to the statement. Beta testing will be continuing up until the official release. Game director Gaute Godager commented, "Even though we regret delaying the launch, I am certain we made the right choice."
