FS Traffic 2002 announced
Just Flight releases information on the latest edition of its upgrade package for Microsoft's Flight Simulator 2002. First screens inside.
UK-based Just Flight has released information on its latest expansion pack for Microsoft's Flight Simulator 2002 . FS Traffic 2002 adds realism to the original simulator by replacing the default aircraft and flight artificial intelligence with flight plans and timetables based on the actual departures of 52 different airports from around the world. FS Traffic 2002 will also allow players to devise their own flight plans if they wish.
The aircraft themselves will be replaced by more detailed models boasting animated flight surfaces, gears, and engine fans, as well as transparent cockpit windows and night lighting. There are 21 new aircraft models included in FS Traffic 2002 in total, including the Dash-8, the CRJ, the 747, and Concorde--which between them sport the accurately re-created liveries of no less than 42 of the world's most famous airlines.
FS Traffic 2002 is scheduled for release in Europe in the first quarter of 2003. No North American release has been confirmed at this time, but we'll bring you more information on the game as soon as it becomes available.
