Front Line Force 1.0 Released

The team-based Half-Life mod is now available.

Comments

Valve Software and the Front Line Force team have announced that Front Line Force, the new team-based mod for Sierra's popular action game Half-Life, is now available. Players are divided into two teams, the attackers and the defenders. The attackers must gain control of specific capture points on the map, while the defenders must defend those points. Once a capture point is taken by the attacking team, the defensive team cannot regain control of that point. The game is over when the attackers successfully capture all the required points and win or when the time limit expires, at which point the defensive team wins. In the next game, the attacking and defending teams switch roles. For more information about Front Line Force, visit the official Web site.

Since its release in 1998, Half-Life has enjoyed the support of an extensive fan base that has produced a wide variety of user-made mods. For more information about popular Half-Life mods, read our Mod Week feature.
